Originally developed by HOT-B in 1989 and later released internationally as Cloud Master on the Sega Master System, Monkey King: Master of the Clouds is an enhanced modern version of the classic arcade shoot 'em up. Developed by Starfish-SD, a studio formed by members of the original HOT-B development team, this release updates the arcade classic with HD-ready visuals and modern platform support while preserving its original gameplay. In addition to the visual enhancements, the game introduces online leaderboards for the first time, allowing players worldwide to compete for high scores in this legendary journey inspired by the Chinese tale Journey to the West.
